2548cc petrol, automatic. This Daimler 2.5 V8 is equipped with factory power steering, an original cream leather interior, Sand metallic paintwork and a stainless steel exhaust system. Although some cosmetic renovations are due, the car is believed to be in straight and unrestored condition and the vendor tells us it's running well, even though the brakes feel “a little tired”.

The car's Heritage Certificate records that it was built in April 1966 and dispatched to a dealer in Bournemouth in May 1966, finished in Sand with a Beige leather interior and automatic transmission, as we see it today. According to a letter from a previous owner to its next keeper in 2022, it had been bought by him 10 years previously and driven only 50 miles, spending most of that time unused in dry storage, sprayed with rust protection fluid and regularly run for a few minutes to warm it up. Papers also include a couple of old parts receipts, the last MoT certificate (passed with no advisories in 2011), a used vehicle invoice showing that our vendor purchased it for nearly £15k in 2022, and the current V5C which shows only 2 former keepers before him.

In the office we also have the car's brass key for removing the wheels, and a loose window catch.
