The vendor has owned this Ford Prefect 100E saloon, affectionately known as Henry, since 1978, and tells us that it has always been kept garaged. Henry has been on many classic road runs and comes with an excellent history file, with maintenance receipts going all the way back to the 1950s. These are accompanied by a Shell maintenance logbook, fully completed by hand, meticulously recording the car's mileage build-up from 1960 to 50,670 miles in 1977. We also have a large collection of Shell inspection sheets from 1956-61, old tax discs, MoT certificates from 1977 to 2019, period instruction books, and a old typewritten AA Touring Route. A few spare parts are also included in the boot.

Henry is fitted with a light tan interior, and the odometer shows 59,634 miles. The vendor states: β€œThis is a reluctant sale due to ill health. I would love someone to bring him back to his former glory.” He also advises that the spark plugs were renewed in August 2025, but the car has not been used on the road recently due to ill health, so recommissioning may be required. The car was first registered on 1st January 1956, and its current V5C indicates only only 2 registered keepers from new.
